First dance song AND why?!

We are doing a Disney medley - Love is an open door, a whole new world, Star Wars cantina and then at last i see the light. It will be epic, as is our love of those movies. It'll be mostly a rumba but a quickstep interlude on the cantina.

All of Me by John Legend. It was on heavy radio rotation when we first started dating so it became our song. It describes our relationship perfectly.

We're dancing to Rachel Platten "better place". I stumbled upon it, and I feel like it fits us to a tee!

We both thought of our independently from one another because it's from our favorite Disney movie. We chose Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast.

It's your love by Tim McGraw. I LOVE Tim & we both love country music. I've said my entire life that I would dance to this song at my wedding.

If I didn't love Tim so much we'd be dancing to "Die a happy man" by Thomas Rhett.

We're keeping it classic: At Last by Etta James. I love it, and this is FH's second marriage so he said that's how it feels.

We are doing "Come To Me" by Goo Goo Dolls. My FH told me he heard it on the radio one morning and all he could think about was me...ever since then it's been our song.

We are doing Wanted by Hunter Hayes except we are having the cover by Boyce Avenue!!

We're both Long Islanders, we've seen him twice together, and the lyrics and music are pretty much perfect

Like I'm Gonna Lose You by Megan Trainor & John Legend. It's our "sing in the car" song, and we have a bunch of weird inside jokes about our excessive love of John Legend. Also, we've both experienced a great deal of personal loss, so our relationship with each other was hard fought and means so much more because we know first-hand how short life can be.

My mom's words: "It's pretty, but it's so sad!" LOL

"Don't want to miss a thing"---we used to sing it to each other all the time. I think it was the only song on FH iPod haha

One Woman by Randy Rogers Band. My FH pulled more than a few strings and he proposed at his concert when they played this song. But had to have the band announce it first. It was on a mix CD he burned for me when we first started dating too!

It Had To Be You by Sinatra. The lyrics fit us perfectly.

"Wonderful tonight" by Eric Clapton. It just fits!

@ASDM717 Love that song! We're debating between that and another song. We saw them perform last Wednesday -- so good!

"Everything Has Changed" by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan. I've dragged FH along to 3 of her concerts, so we got to see them sing it live. He says it's an "us" song.

Better Place by Rachel Platten. We heard while driving and both loved it. I love the line where she says your my favorite thing. FH and I say that to each other all the time.

JP Cooper The only reason.....it spoke volumes to how our relationship started and the many endeavors we have enjoyed along the way.
