First dance song AND why?!

We haven't fully decided but it will probably be Every Moment by KC and JOJO we always knew we wanted to do our first dance to this song.

Our first dance song is going to be to "Fly me to the moon" by Frank Sinatra.

We sang it in karaoke together at an assisted living facility I worked at (he was a friend of the owners who hooked us up) and its been our song ever since.

Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. He proposed to that song and we've always loved it.. FH gets super emotional with that song

Ours is She's Everything by Brad Paisley because it's been our song ever since it came on while I was driving him to the bus station 8 years ago for him to head back to his Marine Corps base.

"Stay with you" by John Legend. Originally, we were thinking of "Forever Mine" by the O'Jays, but when I heard the John Legend song, I knew it was the one. I really like that it's not a super popular John Legend song, but is still as beautiful as "all of me" or "ordinary people" or any of the hits.

We're doing "Home" by Depeche Mode, I'm probably gonna cry, I hope I don't.....:/ haha, great choices by everyone, nice to see such a variety, also love the Arctic Monkeys one!

Head over boots by John pardi and whatever it is by zac brown band. I love frankie Ballard's it all started with a beer. That song fits us well too.

Promise To Love by Kem. Its my FH's favorite song and also that's the song he played before he proposed.

@Catherine W. you have EXCELLENT taste in music! Open Arms by Journey is one of my all time favorite song.

Queen- You're My Best Friend. We wanted to choose an artist we both like as well as a song that was a little more peppy. We did some swing dance lessons so we wanted to show off some of our hard work.

"Follow you" by Shinedown. We saw them in concert recently. While they were singing it, I turned to FH and said this is a perfect first dance song and he agreed.

Thinking out loud. Ed Sheeran was the first concer we went to and when we knew we were falling in love.

We are doing Better Place by Rachel Platten as well. These last two years were really, really difficult for us health wise. I got in a car accident that left me pretty beat up and left with a lot of lingering mental and physical issues, that song just makes me grateful that I had my FH by my side every step of the way. I had never heard it before he suggested it and it fit so perfectly for us.

From the Ground Up - Dan & Shay. I cried when I first heard it and told FH we HAVE to use it as our first dance song.

@Dianna We saw them last year and again this summer. They have been one of our favorite bands! So many great songs!!

Because FH is a professional classically trained musician (while I'm not pro), the song is a classic choice since it is a 1930s tango, and it's *INCREDIBLY NERDY* if you know that we both love the movie True Lies.

We're also doubling down on this silliness by having it performed live as we dance the tango.

@deanna omg never thought anyone else in this day and age would also pick Time in a bottle! That will be our first dance and later he wants us to dance to Some Kind of Wonderful by grand funk railroad.

Never let me go by Florence and the machine. Our 2nd date ended up with me in the hospital and he stayed by my side the entire time when he didn't have to.

A song for you performed by Ray Charles. I love it. FH works for Celine and he would call me when she would sing it during rehearsal so I could hear it. Ray Charles is one of my very favorites and it is a beautiful song. "I love you in a place where there's no space or time, I love you for my life cause you're a friend of mine" love it!

Our first song is so over done, I know, but it is all of me... But it will be sang by the bm. It was the first song we ever danced to, in the living room on his birthday when I was getting ready to go back to my place.
