Weird question but would you be offended as a guest by the lyrics in this song for a first dance? I really love this song but I don't want people thinking we're saying they don't believe in us.

To be perfectly honest, I highly doubt I would even notice the lyrics. I certainly wouldn't read anything in to them. Sometimes a song is just a song.

Looooove this song! Personally, I wouldn't be offended by the lyrics as a guest and the tempo is so upbeat that if I wasn't familiar with the song I may not notice all the lyrics. For what it's worth, I think this is one of those details that us as brides may hyper focus on but at the end of the day the guests may not even take notice of. At least for me, I've never paid too close attention to the lyrics of any first dances I've watched. It's your day, you should use the song that you and your partner want to dance to. Going to be listening to MySpace throwback songs for the rest of the day!
