First Dance Song ???

Okay so my best friend got married a couple years ago and I am getting married this summer. She walked down the isle to a version of the song I want to have as my first dance song. Should I find a different song? Is it weird? I don’t think anyone else remembers. I only do because I have always wanted it to be in my wedding somehow and was surprised to hear it as her aisle song. Lemme know all your opinions!!

    It's not weird at all, people use the same songs all the time. If that is a song that you want your first dance to then go for it! I'm sure your bestfriend wasn't the first to use whatever song it is.

    Oh man, if I could tell you how many couples used the exact same ten songs in 100 different ways at their weddings.

    Same as the other posters, you absolutely do not need to feel weird about having it as a first dance song. Even if it's some super obscure band/cover. You guys are friends, overlap happens. If your friend gets offended or says its weird, they're wrong.

    I think it’s fine haha my husbands groomsman got married a week before us where my husband was his groomsmen too and we both had grand reception entrance to marry you by Bruno Mars - though ours was remixed version
