First Dance Song…help!

Kayla, on September 5, 2021 at 7:14 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 6
Okay, so I really want to have our first dance be a cover of Can’t Help Falling in Love With You, but is that too cheesy? We’ve had moments with that song over the years, but I know it’s played in like every wedding. Thoughts?

If it’s your song and it’s speaks to you as a couple it doesn’t matter how anyone else feels about it. It’s about you guys.

You should dance to something that speaks to you as a couple, regardless of how many weddings it's been played at.

I actually think people LIKE cheesy at a wedding. If you can't have a cheese, over the top romantic song at your WEDDING, when can you? I think you should lean in, and enjoy every moment.

You should do what works for you as a couple. We aren’t “cheesy song” people so we picked something fun and upbeat, Dance With Me Tonight by Olly Murs.
