First Dance Songs...go!

We haven't decided yet. It is either going to be Red Hot Chili Peppers "Hard to Concentrate" or Ray LaMontagne "You Are the Best Thing". Totally different I know, but I had the slower song picked out, until FH approached me with the idea of the RHCP song. It is more our style of music, but is a lot faster paced, so we are going to take a few dance lessons and see what we can do with it to make our decision.

Ray LaMontague "Shelter" or "Let it be me"

Urgh...we don't have one. It's to soon for me to start thinking of a song but, FH insists that it would be a great surprise for our quests if we make our first dance, "I don't believe in love". Now he has it on his favorites list in the car and he gets alerted every time it plays on a station. He laughs everytime!!!!

We are going with If I needed you by Townes Van Zandt. He suggested it and I fell in love with the song

We are planning on using "hey ho" by the Lumineers i love thats song and FH was unusually sweet/ sappy one day when he came home and said "i heard our first dance song on the radio today" that was soo cute.

"Here For You" by Ozzy Osbourne

Our first dance is to The Luckiest, by Ben Folds. We knew that before we even set a date for the big day.

"Show and Tell" Al Wilson. It's one of the few songs that my FH actually knows the words to, he sings it to me sometimes Pinguino I absolutely love the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and totally wanted my first dance song to be "I Could Die For You" but atlas the DJ doesn't have the song!

I would have never guessed that this would be one of the more difficult decisions to make while wedding planning. FH and I seriously cannot agree on a song! But right now Jack Johnson "Better Together" is in the running. I'm just concerned that it may be a bit of an awkward tempo to dance to.

@MzRosaLu I thought this was going to be difficult and ours came quick, our decision now is the father/daughter song.

Ours is going to be Amazed by Lonestar. I've wanted that to be my first dance song since I was a teenager and it fits us. We have a few other songs picked out that we want to dance to also just not as a first dance. We're incorporating Jersey Girl by Bruce Springsteen into the day somehow because that's "our song" lol

We're going with 'To Make You Feel My Love' - Adele's version. It's beautiful, classic, and not too long. lol

Fade to black- apocalyptica. Fh is not a dancer and only likes a certain genre of music. This is an awesome rock song and sweet that we can turn it into a first dance.

We danced to "Endless love" by Mariah Carey and Luther Vandross. I heard the song today in a store and couldn't help but smile remembering our first dance.
