First Dance Songs...go!

Ours is going to be "Love is here to stay" by Frank Sinatra. FH is a huge Sinatra fan and I love the classics as well! I agree with the whole practice dancing to it. I really want to do that too!

@Britteny can't your DJ get the song you want between now and your wedding date? My DJ said he could get songs as people request them ON the wedding night!!

We're dancing to "Theme From Pinata" by Bright Eyes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzjKWUlghO8). It's one of my favorite songs that reminds me of us a LOT. I even have a tattoo inspired by it!

We are kids of the 80's so we chose "Always"by Atlantic Starr.

Question by Old 97's . We had the hardest time finding a song since we don't have one. Most of the pretty songs we liked were so sad (about breaking up and dying.. not first dance material)- and most of the happy songs we like are a little too fast for us (we would have had to have taken lots of dance lessons) In the end we were between 2 songs and this one was shorter... 2.17 minutes long.

I love Banana Pancakes! I have had that song in my head all morning, starting when I didn't feel like getting out of bed. We're doing Jack Johnson's "Better Together" for ours.

We go back and forth. I think the leader right now is INXS's "Never Tear Us Apart."

FWIW, FH used to DJ a show of 80s music, and we both love monster ballads. No shame.

We're also hardcore Michael Bolton fans. Again, no shame.
