I think I'm going to do the first dance with it, and then take it off for the rest of the reception.

No veil for me for the first dance. I plan on wearing my hair up for the ceremony and then take it down for the reception.

I wore my veil for the 1st dance. I didn't take it off until I changed into my 2nd dress. But if had a cathedral length veil, I may have removed it.

I think with, we will have my Nitro at the reception, so when I decide to take it off FH (hubby by that point) can take it out to the car for me.

Mine is elbow length, so that part isn't a problem. I hadn't thought much about it either and then for some reason it popped into my head

I have a waltz length, but plan to remove it after the ceremony and photos.

I wore a long veil and took it off before we went into the reception. I did keep my headband though.

This is a great question and one I haven't thought about. I will probably leave it on for ceremony and pictures but take it off right before we enter the reception.

I'm taking it off right after pictures before my reception. I don't want to wear it the whole night.

I'm taking mine off after the ceremony and leaving it off. I'll also probably wrap it around our chairs or drape it over my chair for the reception.

I'm taking mine off right after the ceremony... Going to do a few pictures with it but then it's going away before we enter the reception.

Without for me! I have a cathedral veil. I'll be putting on a nice flower wreath after for the reception!

I'll probably take it off during partway through pictures. I found a birdcage veil where the veil can be taken off and the comb left in. Less damage to my hair do!

Without. We're doing a Viennese waltz, and I can't even wear my white dress (ballgown) because of the tight and fast spins, so I'm wearing my second modern Chinese dress.

I'll be taking mine off after the ceremony. Mine is cathedral length and while I absolutely love it I can;t dance in it so I'll be wrapping it around our chairs for the reception.

My veil went to my waist (elbow length I guess). It just kept getting caught on my belt. I took it off after the toasts and stuff as I was getting buzzed and did not want to keep messing with it.
