First Dance

We are dancing to This I swear - by Nick Lachey, this has been our song since the newlywed show came out in 2003 I believe and we've slowed danced to it at different moments in our life before and also the night he proposed... It's such a beautiful song

(I've Had) The Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing. Been my dream since high school to have my first dance to that song. Dream also included perfect execution of the choreography from the last scene, but I have compromised with my very shy and uncoordinated (but wonderful) fiance, and we will be doing our own clumsy moves instead (probably the same ones we drunkenly did the night we got engaged and he put it on the TV to surprise me).

Baby I know it by Johnny Reid. FH's pick. Its a fun song but I thought it was kinda cheesy, we had our first dance lesson last night though and it was so fun!

My FH stated he wanted our first dance to be to "thinking out loud" by Ed Sheeran and I thought he was being cute but when he made me listen to the song I wanted to cry because knowing my FH he put some thought into it and he was being all lovey dovey by playing the song. I think that is what we may go with. I am trying to find my walk down the isle song.

We will be dancing to "smile" by uncle kracker.

At first, we chose "If I didn't have you" by Thompson Square, but then when "Thinking out loud" by Ed Sheeran came out, we fell in love with it, so we changed to that!

I want something from Disney (because I'm a huge fan and that's where FH proposed) so we are debating between I see the light from tangled and a whole new world from Aladdin. I'll be walking in to "If I never Knew You" from Pocahantas

I showed FH 5 songs yesterday and didn't tell him the names of any of them. AHE listened to them all and picked "Can you feel the love tonight" by Elton John @Jessica we chose Bless the broken road by Rascal Flatts for our aisle song. It just fits us perfectly

'You Got A Way' by Shania Twain...still gets me teary eyed (and the ending of the song is soft and easy for the man to dip you gently). Our photographer got a great shot of it.

@m sadly that won't be us!! it will be fantastic and clumsy and perfect though because it will be something he feels comfortable with. when i found out he was dreading it due to his anxiety and stage fright, i immediately said we could dance however we wanted.

FH mentioned having our first dance song be "What a Wonderful World", but we haven't decided for sure yet.

We haven't decided yet. Fiance found John Legend's You & I (Nobody in the World). I had always liked Keith Urban's Without You. Both very sweet songs, but totally different feels. So I'm not sure!

Difference - Ginuwine I dedicated this song to him early in our relationship. It fits us both perfectly. FH actually wanted it I figured he wouldnt be much into the "first dance" because he hates to dance lol but he knew how much it meant to me... I just love him
