A few months ago I decided (so i thought) that I wanted to do a first look. I thought it would be nice to share that special moment between us not in front of everyone, that it would help us calm down a little before the ceremony, and so that we would already have most the pictures out of the way & not make guests wait for an hour or more at cocktail hour. But now I’m having a few concerns/reservations
1.) My hair & makeup will have to be done a lot sooner. My hair doesn’t hold up styles well and my face doesn’t hold up makeup the best, by the time the ceremony happens I will have had it on for 3+ hours!
2.) First look & pictures would start around 2:30 (wedding is in May). I just love golden hour photos, the light is so flattering vs 2:30 direct sunlight casting shadows & what not!3.) Isn’t it a little weird to take your husband/wife pictures before you’re even married?4.) Last thing is I’m having trouble letting go of that special walking down the isle moment with all the emotion and tears that I’ve been dreaming of. But I’ve seen a lot of women say that still happened even after the first look.Thoughts? Advice? Thank You!!
