I haven’t decided on a first look yet! We are taking photos before our ceremony, though.

Big reveal but we’re having an afternoon wedding, so there’s no time for photos beforehand

I would like to do first look, but FH wants to be surprised and not see me until I'm walking down the aisle. He's only made a few requests, this being one of them... so, I'll grant his request.

I'm doing a first look with my dad and my son. Might have him consider doing a first touch, we'll see.

Probably won't do it. He is coming with me to my hair and makeup trial and to dress shopping. The only reason for a first look is for him to see the entire look together before the wedding.

we will have drinks and aps waiting for us special at the VIP area of the venue, so I'm not worried about lack of food.

staged pictures are awkward anyways, I rather just do the bare minimum for staged pictures and then let the photographer and guest get the good moments as the night goes on. people think first looks are intimate, but what's intimate about you and your FS trying to share a moment when a photographer is shooting pictures and most likely trying to get the best angles for the pictures. "um, can you cry with your head tilted slightly, groom?"

Neither. We are doing it traditional and he will see me when I walk down the aisle. FH hasn't made many requests but he was adamant about seeing me for the first time when I walk down the aisle. I may do a first look with my dad though. I'd love to have some photos of just us sharing that moment.

We are definitely doing a first look. We originally didn't want to, but it just makes sense logistically. I'm pretty excited about it, actually.

We also want to get a start on greeting our guests during cocktail hour.

We are doing a first look! I'm so excited about it ( I love how much more intimate it is and me and my fiance can have true reaction without a crowd). Afterwards we are going to get wedding party pics out the way. I don't plan on having a cocktail hour and want to go straight from ceremony to reception so this works for us.

We did first look. Amazing experience to have some calming moments alone and be really relaxed getting many shots of us together before the ceremony. Highly recommend.

We did a first look. It really calmed our nerves and made the rest of the day so much easier.

Also, the photographers don't stage the photos. Yes they're in the room with you, but you just ignore them. You do your thing and they take pictures.

Took me forever to decide on it, but we're doing a first look! I think it'll flow better with our timeline. And it'll help calm my nerves.

I think usually the photographer just leaves you alone and then chooses the best pictures later. They're not staged

We took a lot of time talking about this, since FH is very traditional. Ultimately, we decided on a first look and doing our bridal party pics, before. We want to enjoy the cocktail hour and reception--this way we will only miss 20 minutes MAX for family photos.

I like the idea of the first touch but I'm definitely keeping it traditional.

We're not doing anything. I'm pushing for first look or touch, but man oh man, FH is not budging. He wants to wait until he sees me walking down the aisle... I'm thinking I'm gonna have my nephews grab me some yummy cocktail food.

I like the idea of having a quiet moment with FH before the hype of the ceremony, and I know the rest of the day will move so fast and I want to be able to take in every detail, and just feel settled before we say our vows. He didn't want to know about my dress, or anything to do with my look so it will all be a surprise!
