First Look: Overrated or Underrated?

Underrated. Our first looks is the one thing I have been looking forward to the most!

I can't say for sure because we haven't done it yet lol, but I'm predicting underrated. I'm thinking its going to be one of my favorite moments.

I will be doing the first look with my father before he walks me down.

I wouldn't do it and haven't even ever considered it because i'm somewhat traditional BUT I think its a good idea since its a personal intimate moment between the couple. My friend did one and it was just the two of them and their photographer.

Overrated as far as expecting some cute reaction from my FH. I'm just doing it so I can enjoy more time with my guests later on.

Underrated, but not because of the photo op. I think it’s underrated because it gives the couple a moment of intimacy before everything begins. It’s a chance to calm the nerves and remember what the whole event is really all about.

It's a nope. I wouldn't mind it but the husband wants to wait until the ceremony so there you go. I think they're kinda cute though.

I am going to make his ass wait to see me until I am walking down the isle.

I think they're underrated! I love the idea of it being an intimate moment when you first see each other versus in front of all of your guests.

Overrated.

I want everyone to see when he sees me. I don't want to steal that for my own. I want to stare at his reaction as I am guided to him down the aisle!

Very underrated... I'm excited for it just because it will be an intimate moment we will remember forever. I also think it'll help with calming the nerves and giving us our time to soak it all in.

I thought it was overrated until our photographer showed us two sample timelines with and without a first look. The cocktail hour is usually our favorite part of a wedding and since we’re paying for our wedding ourselves, we wanted to enjoy that.

Underrated, I think this moment is so beautiful and I can't wait to see him before the wedding.

Underrated. It was my favorite part of the day. Not only H's reaction to seeing me but getting to spend some time with just him before the craziness of the day took over.

Under rated. I’m getting married in November and was clueless when the photographer told me about that option. When he explained it to me I was all for it, I just needed to get the fiancé onboard. When I explained it to him that we would actually get to enjoy cocktail hour due to taking photos before hand he was all game. So much money spent and were happy to have the option to spend more time with our guest.

Underrated! It's an opportunity for the bride and groom to see each other in a more intimate setting. Plus you can get more pictures that way which to me is probably the more important aspect of the wedding. You want to be able to look back on that magical day

Underrated! My FH is kind of reserved with people he doesn't know. This will be a special time when he doesn't have worry about people looking at his reaction. I'm so excited for our first look!
