We will for sure do it because we're walking down the aisle together

Underrated for sure! Not only is it a private, intimate moment seeing each other for the first time before the ceremony, but it also saves time/money! Instead of a cocktail hour, you go straight into the reception without all the awkward waiting around.

I think it just depends how traditional your wedding is.

My fiance and I are debating this right now. He is very traditional and I am not. We will probably flip a coun in the end if we can't come to an agreement. However I think they are way underrated. You get a moment with your future wife/husband to calm nerves and experience that with only each other. Plus time saverness level 20 million for portraits later.

This. I'm fairly certain we will do one just so we can enjoy cocktail hour!

Underrated. It's one of the things I am most excited about, and I'm sure it will make for the best pictures!

Underrated. We decided against for a few reasons. 1. Tradition 2. Timeline and location 3. Doing one with my dad instead. I love seeing them though. But don't feel I am being slighted.

I think its underrated. Even though we probably won’t do one. FH and I are so untraditional that we will probably drive to the ceremony together. I think either way is fine. It just depends on what the couple will be happy with.

Underrated. It didn’t make walking down the aisle any less special and we both bawled as I walked down. It didn’t take away his reaction or rob our guests of seeing true emotion. I’m so glad we did one.

I am not sure about this one. I want to be traditional, but we are having an evening candle light wedding, and I want pictures by the water, so we may have to do this

Not over rated, but think this should be done only for convenience and not to go against tradition. I believe everyone should have a chance to see the groom’s reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle.

Its 100% personal preference. We are doing a first look for 3 reasons. 1) my FH is a super emotional guy, I think this will make it a bit easier if we are alone to start. 2) sunset is at 429 and our ceremony doesnt begin until 530 so I dont want to miss out on that amazing photo opportunity. 3) frees us up to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests..the day is going to go by so quick and I dont want to miss a thing! BUT...I totally get why others want to wait until walking down the aisle as well..😊

I don't know, this is a hard. I think it is adorable the pictures but FH is all about waiting until he sees me a the end of the aisle before he sees me. I think it is underrated though. Seems like such a beautiful personal moment Smiley smile

TOTALLY overrated. I hate them. I don't want to take the moment from my FH seeing me for the first time walking up the aisle to him as his first glimpse of me, and he hates the idea of a first look more than I do. If they work for another I say good for her and enjoy, just not for us

Underrated. Getting that special one on one time with my FH, that will also be captured with photos & videos, will be priceless.

For me, it’s overrated. Seeing my groom for the first time at the end of the aisle is the thing I am most excited about!

They're definitely not underrated because everyone does them these days, but I still find them really sweet and intimate.

Underrated! Excited for my personal time with FH before having to attend to our guests all evening.

This! Time wise it's really the way to go. Plus with such a hectic day it has to be nice to have a moment alone.
