First Look: Overrated or Underrated?

Underrated! An absolute MUST HAVE from my wedding photos and video!!

Overrated. I want the first look to be me walking down the aisle; I never even considered a "first look"

I won't say they are over or under rated...but we will not be doing one. We want to keep the traditional first look with me walking down the aisle

Overrated, I want to see his reaction when i walk into the room.

We have been planning NOT to have a first look ever since we booked the photographer. However, I think our wedding rehearsal has to be the day of the wedding, which is making our timeline very cramped. The reason we did not want a first look is because we loved the idea of seeing each other for the first time as I come down the aisle. Now I'm starting to change my mind a little. I read from a lot of people that a first look doesn't take away from that moment down the aisle. If we could do a first look- just a few quick pics - and then do the wedding party photos all before the wedding, it might just work more efficiently. Maybe we save immediate family photos for after the ceremony, plus a few more of just us and then we could join the cocktail hour. Hmmmm.

Overrated! People looked at me weird when I said I wasn't doing this, but why should I? He and I both agreed that we both preferred to have the first time he sees me as I walk down the aisle. It will be that much more exciting for us.

Underrated, I love the idea but my FH wants to see me for the first time walking down the aisle. I might do this with my dad though.

Underrated! I'm having my first look with my dad and it will be some of my most treasured photos for sure.

Totally underrated!! First looks are so beautiful and intimate and i love them. I'm all about these!!!
