Nay. The first look will be when I walk down the aisle. But, we are going to have our backs against a barn door and hold each other's hand and read each other's letters to each other.

I am SO torn! I was set on not doing a first look but after reading a few brides and their stories I think I might change my mind. I'll have to discuss it with the FH and see what he thinks.

YEA! I'm all about the first look Smiley love . Although I do also love the traditional idea of waiting until walking down the aisle. We opted to do a first look because I wanted that moment just between the two of us. And it gave us the chance to take photos beforehand. I think they're nice because you can have a private moment together before all the craziness and it takes some of the nerves away.

I want to because I think It would help me feel more comfortable, but FH is adamant he doesn’t want to do it. I plan to bring it up again in a few months to see if he changes his mind but I won’t bother him about it if he hasn’t.

After reading another brides 1st look experience, I spoke to FH and we decided that we are doing a 1st look... a private moment for just us.

Yea! I'm so excited to get that alone time with my FH before the ceremony. I think it'll help with logistics too.

TOTALLY nay! I hate the who idea of it. I was glad my groom was adamant about not wanting one either. I'm always glad when I go to a wedding and they don't do it, because one of the best parts of the wedding is seeing the look on the face of the groom when he sees is bride for the first time. I would never tell anoter bride what to do though, I just hate it

Yea. I want to get pictures done while my hair and makeup are still fresh and un-cried in, and I want to be able to actually socialize during my cocktail hour.

Yea - we are doing all pictures before the ceremony to avoid paying for appetizers for a cocktail hour and having the guests wait a while until they can eat dinner.

No! I could not be further against a first look. It's one of the few things that is traditional that I really believe in- not seeing the bride before the ceremony!

Nay. We’re going traditional and he’ll see me for the first time as I’m walking down the aisle with my dad.

Yes. We finally decided we want to do a first look to save on time and make sure we get the pictures we want. Also I really need him to get his tears out then so when I’m walking down the aisle he’s not crying in all the photos or have blood shot eyes 😒

Nope. But we will hold hands separated by a wall or door and read our day of letters to eachother. We both want the first time he sees me to be walking down the aisle
