First wedding fail

Crystal L., on June 15, 2015 at 3:04 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 10

So, I ordered these organza favor bags, and they came in a while back, but I never opened the package, cause I figured how can favor bags be messed up. Well, they are gorgeous, but they're huge, so it basically tripled the amount of stuff I'm going to have to put in them...Grrr! I'm a little disappointed in myself for not looking at them closer...sooner...LOL!! Do I buy more stuff to fill the bags, or do I order smaller favor boxes/bags?? What would you do??

Hmmm, what would be most cost effective? Since the bags haven't been used you could always try to sell them.

Whoops- I did the opposite. Ordered bags for BM's and they are about 1/3 the size I need them to be. So I am using them for gift bad for parent gifts instead because I hate wasting money!

Cost comparison. Which is cheaper? Buying more stuff? Or buying new favor bags? Can you reuse the bigger ones down the road?

I think the solution is clear, Doublej079 and Crystal should exchange bags. OR the cost comparsison idea is good too.

What's going into the bags? can you buy some cheap filler to put in the bottom of the bag...or tie the ribbon lower and have some of the organza above the bow tie?

Are these like those coin purse sized pull string bags that people put Jordan almonds and things in? What did you plan to put in them?

@Sue M. Great idea!! Too bad we probably live a jillion miles from each other, or I'd be like hey, @Doublej079, head on over and pick them up!! =)

Sell them and get new ones if you have the time. If not, maybe add a thank you note to them to take up space?
