Flats for guests

Jillian, on April 17, 2022 at 9:05 AM Posted in Planning 1 7

Hi! I was considering buying ballet flats for anyone who would like to take off their shoes (but not be barefoot). How many should I buy? I have a total of 120 on the guest list.

Thanks!

I also recommend checking out flip-flops since they can cost only like $5 each.

Thank you! I'm always worried about women who are wearing pantyhose. LOL!

Honestly, I'd just skip them. The majority of women will wear shoes their comfortable with or bring their own shoes to change into. Several people have posted about wanting to this and then finding that no one used the shoes they provided.

Agree with this. In our circles, women will bring their own shoes to switch out of or dance barefoot if the shoes they came in are that uncomfortable, both of which are rare. Flip flops are impossible to dance in because they grip the floor and your foot goes the opposite direction. Ballet flats are similar in that they have no give, even when marketed by wedding vendors as being functional. Save your money.

Thank you. The ballet flats I was referring to are more like slippers with soft soles. Think isotoners. But I appreciate this.
