Flatware Types

I’m trying to push real flatware to convince my mom. The colors are jewel toned, and for the flatware, I want to use gold. However, our main food is soup, so I don’t want to use plastic flatware. For about 200 guests, I’ve found spoons alone that are $133, and we’re only doing spoons and forks because we have no meat to cut, as the food is only soup and sandwiches. Does $266 seem like too much??

If you want it & it’s in your budget, there’s no reason why you can’t have real flatware

I’d say go for it! Ultimately the decision is yours.

Are you renting or buying? If renting, how much is delivery or can you pick up?

I feel like $0.67/piece is a really good price! I rented 5-piece gold flatware setting for $6/set for 180 sets. I also rented tables and glassware from the same company so I’m not sure how much the rental fee would have been. My wedding was in San Diego, CA.
