Floating pool candles/lanterns

Jewels, on August 31, 2015 at 7:09 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 1

Hi!

Any ideas on floating candles or lanterns to spruce up a swimming pool? What did you use so they didn't all group together in one area? An anchor?

I've seen the small floating candles from ikea, but I don't know if I could anchor these?

TIA!

I think you would definitely need an anchor. Floating pool decorations always obnoxiously group together. I was thinking possibly fishing line attached to the float and then long enough to reach what ever depth you're at. I am not sure what you would attach to the bottom. I think there's like metal fishing weights or something that you could grab and just attach a couple dependent on how heavy they actually are.

I've never tried this, I've just thought about it before because so many times I have used floats in the pool that group and mush together.
