Floor cover ideas?

Jessica, on June 17, 2018 at 7:07 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8
Hello!
We found a park with a 1930’s lodge that we’re considering for our wedding and reception. It’s ADORABLE! Well except for the floor.
Does anyone have any ideas on what we can affordably cover the yucky floor with?
It has a shuffle board court on it...

There are peel and stick floor tiles my friend had in her apartment. After enough water got under them, we had a few drinks and were able to sit and rip each tile off. Of course, that may be damaging to their floor, and will definitely cost some cash. Aside from that, you could always rent a dance floor. Best of luck

How many square feet are we talking here?

"Affordable" and "cover floor" are often an oxymoron.

Haha! Well the whole building... maybe? I haven’t been in person yet. Only pictures. I saw a tent floor that you can rent, but I don’t know how that works. It’s technically to cover grass...

Anything you use that is temporary will be a tripping hazard. Accept the floor as is or find another venue. It looks like a lovely venue.

I wouldn't even try to cover it. It makes for some unique pics. Besides, how many pics actually show the floor? Will you have the ceremony and reception inside? If so, you can always use a runner if needed, for the ceremony.

    I like what muriel said!

These pictures are incredible, and only a couple of them had the actual floor in it, and when it did, it made for a very creative picture!

You're going to spend more money on this and it's really something small and trivial, so I wouldn't stress over it. With everything set up, it'll be incredible and gorgeous!

Well everyone, we looked at it today. It’s way too small. It is listed as up to 150 people, but in person it’s too small. No room for food buffet or dancing unless we make seating for only 75 people.

I guess i dont have to figure out the floor now.
