Floral Bridesmaid Dress Trend - Into It or Over It?

I didn't know this was a thing until now, I'm gonna go with no. If we were having bridesmaids I would prefer a simple elegant dress.

I would have to say, over it! It's pretty hard to keep it cohesive, it also looks a bit hodgepodge too.

Not for me. I've never been crazy about this look because I think it makes it look more like you're attending a wedding than in the wedding.

I am so very INTO this trend and would absolutely give it a try!!! I LOVE floral dresses; they're so sweet and beautiful. They add an extra element to a bridal party look and give your girls some definition. I especially love floral dresses with solid color dresses. I will say in terms of this trend I am in favor of the same floral on a few bridesmaids mixed with sequin or solids on the others. I don't like the different florals together.

Some can be pretty, but they're usually really busy, and a pattern that looks good on one girl isn't necessarily going to look good on another.

I’m actually into it. Or at least into prints/patterned dresses, it was just hard to find a dress like this that I loved the color of and had sizes for all my girls.

I'm doing this with my five bridesmaids and actually sent the OP's photo to them as inspiration, and to my florist with how they did the bouquets! So far four of five have chosen their dresses, and I hope they all look good together! That's the hardest part, coordinating. But a couple are wearing dresses they already own, that's the best part. I'm hoping it makes it easy for them. They can buy dresses off the rack or use something they already have on hand.

Over it! I feel like it can look too matchy or awkward if they are no where close.

Into it, so long as they compliment each other.

Never seen this before. Could be cute for spring as long as the cut of the dress is flattering on everyone. Be prepared to never wear them again.
