Floral Budget (If you don't mind sharing)

I'm waiting on pins and needles for my florist to get my quote for flowers and decor back to me. While I'm in the dark, I'd love to know what you guys are paying for flowers and what you're getting for that amount (with pics if you have any)!

My budget is $500. Still waiting for a quote from the wholesale florist, but if I don't hear back from them, I am going with Costco.

We're using real touch flowers. We spent about $230 and got calla lilies and hydrangeas. Enough to make my bouquet, five bridesmaid bouquets, and eight centerpieces.

$850.00 for a few thousand rose petals to line the aisle, three bridesmaid bouquets, seven boutonnières and nine centerpieces, the price includes delivery and set-up.

Here is a photo of our mock-up centerpiece from our florist.

$1000 - 1 bridal bouquet, 4 BM bouquets, 4 bouts, 4 corsages, 10 centerpieces + florals for cake table, head table, placecard table and guest book table, flowers to line the aisle + petals for the aisle. I am doing all the arranging myself and buying wholesale, including a bunch from farmer's market people. It makes a huge difference in price. If I didn't love (and have experience) working with flowers, I would never try to do this.

Our budget was $500. We ended up paying $560 for: 1 bridal bouquet, 1 flower girl bouquet (mini version of mine), 5 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages (for moms and a grandmother), and 11 bouts for groom, groomsmen, usher, dads, and gpas. They are silk flowers through WedIdeas

We budgeted $4000 before actually talking to florists in our area (NYC). We are actually paying $4300, but I'm really ok with going a bit over because I loved this florist. That price is for 9BM bouquets, 1 bride bouquet, 18 bouts, 18 centerpieces, toss bouquet, basket for flower girl, and a bathroom arrangement. Also I love anemones but they aren't in season around here in August so they will be placing an order directly with a grower in Holland so I can get my dream flowers!

Originally we were quoted about $1000, but sent back the quotes asking them to revisit the prices. We got both shops down to about $800, so went with the shop that I liked the flowers being used.

So for about $800, bridal bouquet, mini-bridal bouquet (MOH), 2 BM bouquets, a toss bouquet, 6 boutonnières, 2 corsages and 3 smaller floral arrangements for lantern table decorations.

She will be using roses, spray roses, mini calla lilies, gerbera daisies, asiatic lilies and dahlias... All bright orange in color. No fillers and no green. Smiley smile

Those of your ordering bulk flowers, will you be arranging them yourselves or taking them to a florist?

Was 5k, right now we are $5514. I'm going next Thursday to see a sample with my mom. She might end up blowing my budget more if she wants the arrangements bigger.

I also have 30 tables (3 different centerpieces), 7 bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet, 5 coursages, petals for 2 flower girls, 12 bouts and pew decor. The amount is with tax.

I went to 5 florist and was quoted up to 8k. All but this florist charged a reception setup fee that ranged from 700-1000 on top of the flowers.

My budget is $1500, still waiting for a couple of quotes to come back. I think I am going to end up going with a florist that quoted me $1875.00. I feel like she's giving me sooo much for this money. She's fairly new to South Florida so she needs to built her book.

I am getting flowers for Ceremony, some centerpieces for the Cocktail hour. I have 10 big tables and each table will get 3 centerpieces. Very tall one, and 2 shorter ones, some flower petals, candles and little stones. Sweetheart table. 6 bouquet , 6 boutonnieres plus a ring boy boutonniere and 3 small rental flower baskets.

@Christine- we are getting married at Penthouse 808 at the Ravel hotel in LIC, Queens. The view is really the star of the venue, so the flowers are going to be very simple and neutral.
