Florals/ centerpieces do the have to match bouquet?

Amber, on July 31, 2019 at 6:13 PM Posted in Style and Décor 1 11
Hey guys I am 4 weeks away, and I have gone back and forth w centerpieces. I am having lanterns and garland at each table. Originally I was gonna have sunflowers on the lanterns but don’t care for the look and actually love dahlias too and was thinking of using those in blue wine bottles. My bouquets are sunflowers. Does the centerpiece florals have to match? I dnt wanna be overkill on the sunflowers 🌻 although I love them, yellow is not my fav color and looks tacky when used in abundance. Thanks

My centerpieces don’t necessarily match. They coordinate (we're using a lot of greenery). we are using same color different flowers for them.

Yea, I’d be doing cream colored dahlias. Which matches sunflower. And greenery.

Mind won't match my bouquet. I think as long as they are in the same color palette and compliment each other you will be fine

Mine are flowerless so they don't match my bouquet lol. Smiley xd But no, your centerpieces do not have to match the wedding party flowers.

    Mine didn’t match. I don’t think it’s necessary.

Nope mine didn’t match. Different flowers, except both had blush roses. But I did do similar colors. Blush and white but my centerpieces had greenery as well.

I don't think the centerpiece flower need to match to the bouquet you hold. Think of it this way, it'll make your bouquet stand out even more Smiley smile

Mine don't completely match. I have purple peonies in my arch decor, centerpieces, and bouquets, but the rest are all different.

They don't need to match! It's up to your personal preference
