Sierra, on May 29, 2019 at 4:20 PM Posted in Florida Planning 0 3
We are looking to get married on public beach in/around siesta key, FL. (Were from Ohio) Going to have only maybe 20 people and only have a ceremony. Any tips and dos/don’ts? Permit required? Etc.

It will depend on the county the beach is in, so I'd contact your local city/county office and ask them.

I’m getting married on Coquina Beach, a little north of Siesta. I haven’t been able to get city hall to answer the phone to find out about a permit. So I’m doing my 30 person wedding without one. We’re not putting up an arch or renting chairs, so I think we’ll be okay.

Hey Sierra!! A wedding on the beach sounds so beautiful! Have either of you been to Florida before?

I would definitely get in contact with the local city hall to acquire the correct permits and documents.

Are you going to have your reception nearby?
