Hi!!

I can’t seem to get anyone on the phone at the DMV. It took forever to get my social updated but I finally did. I have an appointment on Monday at the DMV. Do I need my birth certificate?? Or does my marriage license suffice?
Any advise is appreciated, they aren’t the friendliest at the DMV and I would rather avoid any issues.

I'm not sure but I would bring it just in case. In my opinion, I would rather have it and not need it than not have it and need it.

Hi Jenn! I'd make sure to have either your passport or birth certificate as your primary identification. You'll also need your marriage certificate, new social security card, and two items that prove your residential address!
