Florida venues!

I see that you want to get married in about five months, but I'm not sure how realistic it is for you to have 250 people. You might have to review restrictions to see if this many people are allowed as I am not familiar with Florida's Covid restrictions. You also are likely going to be limited on venues and vendors because a lot of them are booked because of 2020 weddings being postponed to this year. That being said hotels normally have ballrooms they can host weddings in. The problem is most hotels have catering minimums. We got married in a hotel and our food and beverage minimum was $7,000. I would reach out to hotels in your area to see the costs and if they are even allowing 250 people at this time.

250 people...this June?? 😳

A 250 person indoor wedding in June anywhere in the US is superrrr ambitious. Is it an option to move your wedding to next year? Also, most ballrooms that would allow that number of guests outside of covid would require you to use their food and beverages and you'll probably be looking at a very minimum of $50 per person and that's being generous. Unfortunately, a large guest count normally comes with a decent budget.

Unfortunately, I can't imagine any venue (let alone an indoor ballroom) that would allow 250 guests this June. Aside from your wedding being only 5 months away, that may be part of why you're having trouble finding one. The other thing to keep in mind is that ballrooms generally aren't so affordable.

What part of Florida are you in?

As others have stated, finding a venue in such a short amount of time might be difficult.

If you're in the Florida panhandle area, try the Sheraton Golf and Spa Resort in Panama City Beach. We're getting married there in April and they have SUPER reasonable rates. They have several huge ballrooms that could accommodate 250 guests.
