We are planning a small close to home Honeymoon and then take a Hawaii trip next year. Where is the best place to Honeymoon in Florida. The most tropical area with fun stuff to do!

I agree with Key west! Very tropical and gorgeous! St. Augustine is nice too because there is a lot of history.

I personally love the Gulf side, so Clearwater Beach, St Pete, Siesta Key and Sarasota are all pretty

LOL I LOVE the Gulf side --- and retired here 2 years ago. (Sarasota) If you want beautiful pristine beaches without that "spring break" look, you can't beast Sarasota - 3 beaches all within 30 minutes of each other. TONS of stuff to do .... theater, dolphin tours, water/jet ski, boat rentals, parasailing, etc. Key West IS beautiful, but sooooooooo touristy. Oh, and if you have a rental car, Tampa/St. Pete/ Clearwater are just a bit over an hour away, Disney is 2 hours, and Universal about 2 hours, 15 min.
