I’m curious what everyone else does. I do sometimes (wear my engagement ring that is) to the beach, but it can be annoying with the sand and everything.
My fiancée and I are at the beach almost every weekend during the summer months, or doing some type of water activity. It seems weird to walk out the house without my ring on, but idk 🤷🏽‍♀️. What are your thoughts?

I don't live in Florida, but I spend much of my summer at the beach as well. I always take off my jewelery when going to the beach. I don't want to risk losing it in the sand/ocean. Plus you can get weird tan lines from the jewelry. If I'm doing something active, like going to the gym or going to the beach or whatever, my engagement and wedding rings stay at home.

Good idea Hannah! And I completely forgot about the tan lines!

I always take off my rings when I'm swimming, visiting the beach, cleaning, etc., because I don't want to take the chance of losing them or messing them up. It does feel weird to have nothing on, so I usually wear a silicone band when I'm going to be doing something and I don't want to wear my rings (well, not when I clean lol).

I don't wear my rings in the pool or at the beach!! One of the big concerns with swimming is that cold water makes your fingers shrink a little (just like heat makes them swell) - so they can slip off much easier in the water! 🌊

Also the person who sold us our wedding rings gave us a good piece of advice: never wear your ring anywhere you can't touch the bottom!!

I also don't love getting sand and sunscreen on my rings - so I just leave them at home the whole time!

Definitely not the beach or pool . The salt water , and sand can scratch and destroy the metal over time , chlorine water as well .
