I'm debating whether or not to have a florist do our flowers or if we can put the bouquets together ourselves! My friend did this the night before with her bridesmaids as bonding time. I'm debating whether or not to have a florist do our flowers or if we can put the bouquets together ourselves! My friend did this the night before with her bridesmaids as bonding time. She said they spent less than $200 on 6 bouquets and 15 small centerpieces. We're having the wedding and reception in a barrel room at a winery so the flowers will be some of our only decorations. I want them to look good! We just want to cut costs any way we can. Are DIY bouquets difficult to pull off? Or should I bite the bullet and pay for a florist?

Wouldn't you rather be relaxing with your bridesmaids the night before? No one wants to spend the night before DIYing. It sucks.

I would get some quotes from different florists and try your grocery store florist too.

What if it's the night before and something goes wrong and they don't look good? What do you do?

Why would you not let vendors comment? They are fantastic people and know much more about weddings than anyone else on the site. They go to more weddings in a month than some people do in their lifetime.
