Florist Quote?

I dont think that's too bad. My florist cost is $650 but that's only for a bridal bouquet, 1 bridesmaid bouquet, 1 flower wand, 1 flower crown for flower girl, 5 bouts, 3 corsages, and 6 pumpkin aisle arrangements.... but I'm providing the pumpkins to the florist

That seems on target. Most flower quotes I've gotten have been between **** for just the bridal party flowers (1 Bridal Bouquet, 5 BM Bouquets, 9 Bouts [FH, GM, Fathers, and ring Bearer), Arch Flowers, Centerpieces, and 3 Coursages.

The lowest I got was 800 for just the bridal party flowers and parents - no decorations.

Mot people I know spend closer to 2k on flowers. It's definitely something that gets up there.

Okay so suggestion, have you considered doing your bouts on your own? They are fairly simple, we are doing ours the day before. That being said, I don't think that quote is overly high. Mine was $800 for my bouquet, 5 bm bouquets, and 3 centerpieces (the others are not floral) plus travel fee. And that was a low quote in my area. Depends on your area, time of year (busy or slow season), and cost of the flowers you're using.

That seems a little high, IMO, I am paying about $1500.00 for my bouquet, 6 bm bouquets, groom's bout, 5 GM bouts, 2 mom corsages, 2 dad bouts, 3 grandmother corsages, 2 grandfather corsages, 12 centerpieces, and "altar" decor (for the arch where we're getting married. I asked for mostly greenery, so maybe that's why?

It sounds pretty reasonable to me. Did they break down the cost per piece for you?

The prices broken down are:

Bridal Bouquet--------------------------$150.00

4 Bridesmaids---------------------------$ 65.00/each

10 Men-----------------------------------$ 15.00/each

8 Women---------------------------------$ 35.00/each

8 Pews-----------------------------------$ 35.00/each

Costco bouts/corsage package is $99 for 8 bouts and 8 corsages. They were great. I believe you can call to customize and probably add the extra two bouts you need.

I think that's pretty close to what I paid for bouquets and bouts. Midwest bride as well.

Like PP, that's not too bad. You could look at Sam's club's flowers (I almost went that direction before another florist came in). They have packages with premade bouquets and bouts.

Glad to see that these prices aren't too far from the target. I have the day off today (thanks to Irma ruining my FL trip to visit my family) so I'm going to try to stalk some of the florists who haven't responded. $1,200 still just seems like so much for that amount of flowers, on target or not.

I love flowers so despite the sticker shock we ended up spending a ton on flowers.

That sounds pretty reasonable to me. My bridal party flowers are around the price for your entire quote lol and that doesn't include centerpiece

The prices per piece are about what I would expect. I actually think that's a really good price for the bouquets.

Considering my quote was 5x that, I think that is dirt cheap. It's all area depending!!

That quote sounds pretty good to me! We paid about $1,500 for my bouquet, two bridesmaid bouquets, 8 bouts, 2 corsages, two sets of very simple hair flowers, some flowers in antique bottles for the bar, and a fairly simple hanging arrangement for the ceremony.

Honestly that's not bad I got a quote of $1800 for 7 BM 7 groomsmen's his parents my parents I have 3 bouquets for me 10 centerpiece and a not that much decoration at the church and I'm in California good luck !!!
