I need 6 (pretty large - atleast 10" diameter) flower balls for 6 18" high vases. I need 6 (pretty large - atleast 10" diameter) flower balls for 6 18" high vases. I can't decide if I should buy silk ones like the ivory ball on the vase pearls, DIY like the flower ball on the vase on the box, or buy real like the baby's breath.

To buy silk ones premade will cost be $21 each, to make them myself will be $40, to have real ones made (baby's breath being the cheapest) will be $65. Which option is the best considering what will look best and cost? What would you do? Also these take an incredible amount of time to make. I made the one on the purple box. I guess I just need help deciding if the $65 is justified or if the $21 silk ones don't look cheap...

I like the silks (I am doing silks) I can't imagine paying $65 a piece for baby's breath. They are pretty, though. You may be better off buying the $21 ones.

Thanks so much @The Centerpiece Flowers! I had a feeling it would take quite a bit of baby's breath to achieve this look!

If your looking to save money , do the silk, buy the flower heads and styrofoam balls from DH gate. My fiance and I put together 8 silk flower balls in about 3 hours.
