Flower Boys?

I think flower boys would be cute, but what your fiance wants is more important. Why can't all 3 walk down the aisle together as ring bearers? Only one would need to carry the ring pillow, but the other two could be "escorts".

My cousin's having a flower boy. He is carrying one of those hoops with flowers and greenery on part of it-- Not dropping petals or skipping down the aisles. Maybe you can encourage your FH to be more openminded about gender norms

You can have flower boys if you want or they can all be ringbearers. The boys may have their own opinions about what they want to do. My 4 yo nephew was one of our “flower children” along with my 2 yo niece. We originally had asked him to be our ring bearer, but he was pretty clear about what role he wanted. He wanted to “throw the flowers” and not do the “ring thing.”

Our flower girl and ring bearer were our daughters, so both girls. Go for it.

We are having a flower boy and are super excited about it. Genders norms are sooooo 50s.

My son is going to be the flower boy and my daughters is going to be the ring bearer. My husband is wanting to make a statement against sexism. Do what you want, remember its your big day.

You don’t need to have anyone with flowers. We don’t have any girls in our families either so we just aren’t having it. I would have the boys be Ring bearers together.

You could also have the younger two boys walk down the aisle carrying signs before or after the ring bearer...Pinterest has some really cute ideas! I love the second one here, so funny.

A friend if mine getting married this year is planning to have flower children (a girl and two boys) since she had 5 kids total that she wanted to have in her WP.

I had the opposite situation. There were two little girls I wanted to have in my wedding, so I asked one to be the RB. I definitely don't think FG and RB have to be gender specific.
