Flower girl hairstyles

A.L.S., on February 16, 2017 at 6:38 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

Just wondering if anyone is having their flower girls hair done professionally? My daughter will just be turning two but already had hair down to the middle of her back . Not sure if I should just do something simple like a headband or have it done professionally . Not sure how I feel about heat tools being used on her hair .

I'm doing my flower girls hair. I'm a stylist myself so I didn't feel like paying 50 bucks to have someone curl it, I'm doing loose beachy curls with a cute flower crown ETA: as long as they use a heat protectant I don't see a problem with heat tools one time. You only get damage if you use them every day and don't protect your hair.

For someone that young, I would not recommend styling. Just put a pretty now or headband on her

I do agree with coffee and color though.she most likely won't sit still very well and then risks herself getting burned. I would wash and blow dry her hair yourself and buy a cute flower crown. She will look adorable.!

My flowergirls are cuties and will be wearing flower crowns. As long as the flower crowns will fit on their heads, their moms can style their hair however they like.

My FG is 9 and when I asked her mom about hair, I found out she is really into updos right now, so she's thrilled to get her hair done professionally. My RB is a 4 year old girl, and her mom expressed interest in having a professional do her hair to ensure it would look good and stay put.

I'm not requiring specific hairstyles, though. I'm leaving it up to their moms what they actually want done with their daughters' hair.

I'm personally doing this to one of my flower girls (the other one has very little hair, she just got enough to make a fountain on top of her head lol). I'm not paying for the FG because this is something we can do ourself. I can braid like nobody's business and she LOVES her hair being done. The one with no hair I'm sticking a bow headband on!

I did the same thing as @LosForTheWin. Our florist made cute little flower crowns for the girls to wear when they walked down the aisle, but it didn't even occur to me to tell the moms to do anything specific with their hair.

Oooh, flower crowns! I hadn't thought of that. That would look super cute on a 2 year old!

My flower girl has beautiful natural curls, so I want her to show them off. She picked a tiara to wear for the wedding as well. She is 4.
