Flower Girl & Ring Bearer Gifts

Sarah, on August 10, 2017 at 4:21 PM Posted in Planning 0 16

I am having a hard time coming up with gifts for our Flower Girl and Ring Bearer. The FG will be a little bit older than 3 and our RB will be just shy of 6. I don't want them to feel left out when we are giving the bridal party their gifts. Any suggestions?

My FGs will both be 8 years old, one almost 9.

I'm getting them a hoodie/zipup with "flower girl" on the back and their name on the front / left chest.

And a book about young Amelia Bedelia being a flower girl

And a canvas tote bag with their names on it (same one that the BMs are getting / won't they feel "grown up".. hah) that will hold the gifts.

Sorry, I've got nothing for the RB.

I know they sell cute tumblers you can customize on Etsy. I would just scour Etsy.

We got them toys they like/ are into, kids honestly can care less about what says "flower girl" "ring bearer" IMO.

Ring bearer (10 years old) = Pokemon cards

Sign boy in place of flower girl (3 years old) = Thomas the train toys

I'm getting my flower girl a robe with her initials on it and a handkerchief that will one day be her "something old" and "something blue." My ring bearers will have mini baseball bats with their names on them.

We also did the handkerchiefs (age 1 year -7) and bracelets for the older girls. For our RB we actually got him the same money clip we ended up getting the GM. He was so excited to have a big boy wallet (4yo) and a small toy. All the kids were excited!

    ETA money clip had monogram.

I'm just going to do a small toy for each unrelated to the wedding. I have a 6 year old flower girl escorting a 1.5 year old flower girl and 2 year old ring bearer walking down the aisle. For all three, I bought Love is Walking Hand in Hand by Charles Schultz (a Peanuts book) and will write a special note inside.

Our FG and RB will be around 3 by wedding time... I will probably do something like a stuffed animal and tickets to a local zoo for their family. Probably nothing wedding related!

My flower girl will be 3.5 I got her a little get ready outfit, so she won't be left out. Just a shirt that says flower girl and shorts. I got her a super cute etsy necklace that has her initial (it also comes in a child length too) and I'm getting her a BPA free water bottle with her name . I'm getting the boys, a shirt and a water bottle with the name

    Edit:

I got the same necklace as the @Mrs. Fall Bride included the link for. I couldn't believe how amazing it looks for the such affordable price

We had 3 flower girls--our 5-year old twin nieces and then our 16-month old niece. They all got birthstone necklaces with their names on them. The older ones also got activity bags to keep them occupied while we were all getting ready.

Our ring bearer (3.5 yr old nephew) got a set of children's bagpipes (all of our groomsmen/RB wore kilts, so it went with the theme). I cleared it with my sister first (because...bagpipes and a toddler), and she just said..."I love it. It's a total 'fuck-you gift,' but I don't even care."

I got FG a bracelet and this really adorable tea set! I also got a handkerchief for RB and am still struggling to decide on his "for fun"-type gift.

I had cups made with their names, found really sweet books also. Bought my fg jewelry she loves that is perfect for her age and rb a watch. They both were so excited last night and showed everyone what they got. Nothing was fancy all age appropriate.

I got all 5 of my flower girls an 18" strand of freshwater pearls. Macy's had a huge Memorial Day sale for them. They will be able to wear them forever.

I still need to think of something for my ring bearer.
