Flower Girl Throwing Petals Alternatives?

What about bubbles? I'm thinking of having one of the flower girls be like a ring bearer since we don't have one. Haven't figured out about the other. I'd like to do bubbles for our flower girls, but since we're inside, I feel like it could potentially be a soapy mess.

Since my flower girl is actually my floral security (my nephew) we might have him walk down the aisle blowing bubbles or we found tea stained paper rose petals with little exerts from songs and books. We havent really thought much about it but he is young so we do not want to make him feel like there is alot of pressure on him to do it.

To be honest I would be okay with him riding his big boy powered motorcycle down the aisle and having sparklers taped to the back of it, of course that would be if our ceremony is outside!

We are having our flower girl throw feathers..... I absolutely hate flowers in general but especially at weddings, just such a huge waste of money... so Feathers it is

I’m having 3 “flower girls” none of them are actully doing petals though, we’re doing communion with our guests so 2 of them will be handing out the sealed communion cups with wafers on them & the youngest will be throwing artificial eucalyptus leaves

We went through a ton of ideas about this... and then just nixed them all and circled back to petals. Which need to be picked up anyway at our venue. But really, how much damage can a 9 month old flower girl do? She'll probably drop like 5 petals lol.

Oh my goodness. I also love glitter, but I doubt any venue would actually allow that. hahaha.

That's true. I like the look of petals, but definitely don't want to have to pick them all up. Especially since our ceremony is outdoors and they could potentially get blown around.

We thought about bubbles, but our flower girl will be a couple months away from 2 years old at our wedding, so the chances of her actually being able to effectively blow bubbles is pretty slim.

I love this idea!

My favorite alternative is the flower girl blowing bubbles or holding a little bubble machine that blows them itself. A lot of people set it in a wagon with a baby who is being taken down the aisle. SO CUTE!
