flower girl wagons

Kentucky Bride, on April 13, 2011 at 3:14 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

Hey ladies! I've decided that I want my flower girl to come down the aisle in a wagon. Shes a toddler that is easily distracted and there is a big age gap between her and her brother (the ring bearer). She is 2 and he is 9. Have any of you ladies done this? I'm looking for some wagon decorating inspiration!!

My friend's son was the ring bearer in her wedding. She had satin inside, hanging around the edges, and had flowers hung on each corner. It looked much nicer than the original red wagon that it was!

He was good for the pictures, but when it came to walking down the aisle - wouldn't go in the wagon. Haha.

Please be sure to have some kind of seat in there with a belt for her safety.

Get a wagon and spray paint it white... or cover it in tulle or fabric. Be sure to keep the wheels and axles free.

I am doing the same thing, and we are date twins, my flower girl will be 10 months and the other one will be 8 years old. I am going to have her in her carseat that is strapped to the wagon but we are decorating the wagon to match the wedding colors
