Flower girls that can’t throw flowers

Our church won’t allow us to have the flower girls scatter flowers as they walk down the aisle. Any suggestions on what they should do?

They can walk with the ring bearer and carry a small bouquet or a single flower.

I've seen where some people will give their flower girl a bunch of roses or flowers of their choice and the flower girl will hand out flowers to people on the end seats of the aisle.

You could have her walk down the aisle with a ribbon wand. Very cute! Also fun for the flower girl

My church also had restrictions so my flower girls carried lanterns and my ring bearer carried a sign.

Our flower girl carried a mini version of my/my bridesmaid bouquets! She's holding it in the picture below.

They can carry a basket of real flowers and hand them out to those with aisle seats. It would seem rather odd to call them a flower girl if they don't have flowers of any sort.

Two of my favorites I've seen at weddings are bubbles and balloons. The flower girls in the first wedding blew bubbles while walking down the aisle and the other wedding, the flower girls held large bunches of balloons and let them go in the air as soon as the bride started walking down the aisle. That was definitely my favorite!

Mine will have one long stemmed sunflower and a sunflower crown. I just wasn’t feeling the throwing of the flowers.
