Flower Girls

Bonnie, on January 17, 2024 at 6:48 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 2
I’m renewing our vows because we never had a wedding. The only ones in the wedding party are our 5 children. Our two youngest are the flower girls. I ordered their dresses and one came in white and the other ivory it’s like a really light champagne color. It us the exact same dress. I want to exchange the ivory one if possible but if not would it look bad with them being two different colors? I ordered them Pearl belts and I was thinking maybe i could add a sash of the opposite girls dress to the dresses to kind of blend them together. Thoughts?

If you can't get them both in the same color, the sash idea is really great!

How distinct are the colors? Because ivory can be suuuuper close to white or not. If the dresses are almost the same color, I think switching the belts is just going to look like the girls just accidentally got the wrong belts. That kind of alternating works well when they’re very distinct colors, like blue and white. When they’re close, it just looks like a mistake. If you can’t swap one for the same color, I’d give them belts that match another wedding color to tie them together.
