Booked the venue!!!! Yay - however one of the expectations is that I can’t have silk flowers (thinking flower girls, table arrangements). What suggestions do you all have and go

Do you mean that the venue won't let you have silk flowers or you don't want silk flowers? If it's the venue have they said other things you can't have either like confetti, real flowers, bubbles etc?

Purple is a beautiful color. What time of the year are you planning on having your wedding? If you are having it in the spring or summer, I would suggest a lavender. Plum for fall or winter . Lavender flowers are gorgeous.

Fiftyflowers.com has bulk fresh petals very inexpensively compared to other vendors. The advantage of fresh is that the are biodegradable and don’t spend a billion years in a landfill.

Also, contrary to popular belief, they do not stain if your dress brushes over them in the aisle. You would have to use your entire body strength to grind them to create stains, which won’t happen at a typical wedding.

We are going to go with bubbles for our flower girl! My venue doesn’t allow flower girls to have petals of any kind.
