Flowerless wedding?

Anyone go flowerless? Any ideas for bouquet alternatives? Not a huge fan of fake flowers (might as buy real for the price of the real touch ones) and live flowers just seem wasteful. I'm trying to think how I can decorate without floral pieces.

We're having a literary themed wedding and will be having flowers made from old books in our colors.

If you're concerned about cost, you don't have to go overboard with flowers. I am getting some baby's breath from Costco and making the boutonnieres/bouquets myself for the WP. FH and I will have professionally done boutonniere/bouquet, as ours will have more color to 'stand out', but they will only be about an extra $100.00 for us. This simplicity is just as beautiful though!

We also don't have any flowers in our receptions space. We will have tall glass tumblers filled with water, cranberries and a floating candle.

I am not having flowers. Love flowers, and it makes everything look so nice however I wanted to do things differently. I am currently making brooch kissing balls for my bridesmaids and myself, I purchased rose gold brooches for our mothers and rose gold lapel pins for the groomsmen. As for centerpieces I am doing floating candles and tea light candles.

I think I'm going to have a real flower bouquet and my maids will have silk simple two/three piece flowers. But that's it. No other flowers anywhere else. Tying to cut costs

I'm using potted plants for decorating since I am landscaping a new area of my yard after the wedding- mostly hosta-

I haven't decided on what I want to carry- I was thinking nothing but I think it would be weird to not have anything walking down the isle...

ECO FLOWERS. We're using them for our bouquets and boutonnieres. They're made of wood, and you can pick your scent for them. They can be kept forever, and they're really pretty. For our centerpieces, we're going to use a lot of greenery, and baby's breath, and a few blooms. I don't want to overdo the decorations, because flowers get expensive, but the more greenery you use, the cheaper they will be. You can also use candles, fruit, berries, etc for your centerpieces to cut down on the need for a lot of flowers.

We're having a flowerless wedding as well. I'm doing a broche bouquet and haven't decided what to do with my bridal party. We're leaning towards candle centerpieces. We're also placing several love notes on tables.

A friend sent a link to a bakery that makes cupcakes that looks like a bouquet of flowers. I considered that as centerpieces but I'm concerned people won't eat them.
