I think grandparents too? I was totally clueless. My grandmother is making silk flower arrrangements for the wedding. So I was like wow easy, just bride, groom, 3 bridemaids and groomsman wont be bad at all. And my dad was like yeah but what about the moms and grandmas? Whoops! Definitely need to make myself a full list of names of who needs what. It sucks we have so many step parents and birth parents and whoever else just adds in so many more!

I didn’t even realize it either! I feel like just the parents who are involved in the ceremony should need them

I think it is customary for family to get some kind of corsage/boutonniere even if they are not a part of the service. Parents & grandparents for sure. We will have one for the officiant as well.

Its definitely customary for parents and grandparents to have flowers. Fathers and grandfathers typically have boutineers and the mothers and grandmothers can have corsages or very small handheld bouquets.

I’m doing corsages for our moms and my grandma, and boutonnieres for our dads. You don’t necessarily have to, but I think it’s traditional.

I am having bouts and corsages made for all the parents, but FH has like 54 grandparents somehow, so I didn't get anything for any grandparents. I don't think it'll ruin their night by not having a flower or two.

I'm making bouts and corsages for parents and grandparents. It's of special importance for the grandparents because they won't be part of our processional for mobility reasons. We want to make sure that they're still shown some honor and respect in our wedding day.

Well, you should have some way of honoring them, but it doesn't have to be flowers. You could have the moms wear a broach for example. It's your wedding. There is no "supposed to."

I did corsages and bouts for siblings, parents and had an extra so the officiant wore one too
