FLOWERS! Are y’all using real or fake? Or a mixture of both? We have considered doing fake bouquets (so we can keep them) and real for decor. Or should we do all real or all fake?

We're doing fake for our centerpieces and real bouquets and boutonnieres.

We're doing both, but opposite. I'm using fake flowers for the centerpieces, both to save money and so I can put them together beforehand. We were planning on doing fake for bouquets and boutineers, but ended up finding out that this local flower shop chain (Thrifty Florist) does wedding packages, and I was able to get all of the wedding parties flowers plus delivery and vases for just over $200.

We are doing a combination of both. Flowers are one area where I plan to cut costs.. Because of that, we plan on doing real flowers for all the men and Real Touch (fake) flowers for the ladies. (This is saving us nearly $200). Our centerpieces are mostly eucalyptus, so that will be real as well. Since we leave the day after the ceremony for our honeymoon, it is very important to me to our my bouquet preserved correctly, so I am either doing a wood bouquet or Real Touch as well.

For my wedding, I used a fake bridal bouquet that I fall in love with from Ali Express. For my bridal party, I used those forever flowers for their fans and the guys had fake flowers. I used real touch flowers for tables.

I would love to do real flowers but to save money and so i could make them how i wanted I’ve doing fake, especially since hobby lobby has flowers for 50% off every other week. I don’t think they have turned out to bad. If you are worried about them looking wrinkled or anything you can use a blow drier to straighten them out.

Real flowers! I’m trying to do minimal flowers though, by choice, not cost. 😊

We are doing a mix of both! For my bouquet, MOH bouquet, (we are having one bridesmaid, one groomsman) boutoniers and corsages we are doing natural flowers with a florist and picking them up ourselves to save the delivery charge. and for our center pieces I’m ordering from Costco Italian ruscus, white roses, and my sister and coordinator are placing them that day around some gold lanterns that we are renting😊 and for my wedding reception decorations we are doing fake flowers for example for my arch, for the welcome sign, and I have found beautiful silk flowers! I take advantage of the sales they have going on from time to time! The picture is from some of the silk flowers I am using for my arch ❤️

We are doing all fake! We didn’t really want floral centerpieces, and flowers aren’t a huge deal to me at all. I found my florist on Etsy and am spending under $400 for my bouquet, all the bridesmaids bouquets, the boutonnières and the corsages. Easy and is done wayyyy ahead of time with no need to worry about what’s in season and when they’ll be delivered/set up. They look super real and honestly, if anyone actually notices they’re fake they’d be looking wayyyy too closely! No one will ever know and they’re gorgeous Smiley smile

We have mixed ours! My bouquet, my girls bouquets, & the boutonnieres will be artificial flowers. Our table centerpieces are real. The rest of the flowers that will be placed here & there for decor will be artificial. The mother's flowers will be real. Grandmother's corsage will be real. Petals for flower girls are real. Arbor pieces are artificial.
Our table centerpieces are just simple stems to go with our color scheme/theme in mason jars... We saved a large amount of money by just ordering the flowers from our florist for the centerpieces, but we will place them in the mason jars ourselves instead of the florist putting them together 😊

We’re using a combination of both! My bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, flowers on the arch, and corsages will be real, but the centerpieces will have fake flowers. My centerpiece is super pretty, and our florist is going to pick out nice silk flowers for it!

We’re thinking of doing fake for the centerpieces/decor and real for the bridal party.

I’m using real flowers. I thought about using fake flowers but we decided not to due to time. Our wedding isn’t until December 14th but we just didn’t want to hire someone or do
it ourselves. We’re ordering our wedding flowers from Sam’s Club.

We're doing real flowers. It's SO expensive! We opted to have a family friend do all of the bouts and bouquets and the venue florist is just doing the ceremony flowers for the arch way and centerpieces.

I'm making fake flowers (some paper, some ribbon, and some yarn) for all the bouquets, but we're getting married in a garden, so the decorative flowers are real. So are moms' corsages, as they both prefer real flowers. This is a picture of some of the paper ones I've made.
