OMG why are flowers so expensive 😅. What are y’all doing about flowers? Real, faux, realistic wooden?? I cannot decide. But I also don’t want to spend an outrageous amount…

I'm also arranging bud vases myself with flowers from FiftyFlowers.com, plus 6' garlands from Costco, and then ordering all the personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, etc.) from a florist because I know I'll be too critical of my own work to attempt DIY-ing those. I just can't bring myself to spend $100+ per centerpiece! The garlands for the banquet tables will be $25 each and bud vases probably about the same. I bought the vases from various craft stores and am planning on selling them afterwards on my state's wedding consignment Facebook group.

We are doing fake floral, which was fine by me to honestly I never been into huge flower centerpieces and the prices for those with Disney are at least $300 a piece 👀 haha. my mom was trying to convince me to get those but ehh not my taste so it really just depends if floral is important to you . these are my fake florals that we got at Michaels And purchased the carriages online

I'm not 100% sure what I'll end up doing yet, but I'm pretty set on wanting to do artificial flowers so I can keep my bouquet afterwards. I enjoy crafting so right now I love the idea of doing burlap roses (either natural or dyed) and paper flowers (probably using sheet music of our favorite songs) with some faux greenery and 1-2 small accent flowers

We used all real flowers and I have no regrets. Our florist actually offered a bulk bucket option, so we had her make my bouquet, the men's corsages, and do a flower swag for our arbor, but for all of the venue decor we purchased bulk flowers and rented vases and did the arrangements ourselves. It turned out stunning, was a lot of fun to do, and ended up being such a good value.

I would have ZERO hesitation purchasing bulk buckets for a future event. It ended up being super affordable and an incredible bang for the buck.

Flowers are extremely expensive. We met with our florist on three occasions and each time the price has gone up (because you will keep adding, not cause of the florist). Go with your gut. I love flowers, so that is taking a big part of our wedding budget. Our venue offered a standard package but we upgraded bringing the total to over 6K.

I totally get that the flowers will die and that the money "can" be used in other areas but this is ONE day that everyone you know gets together to celebrate you and your partner's love for one another. AND that to ME, does not have a price tag... with the exception that it actually does... LOL. On another note, Caviar taste, on a Tuna Budget... work with your Florist to bring your vision to life, flowers dress up any venue and add class -in my opinion. I've attached a picture for reference...

    Good luck!
