They don't have to carry flowers! The broach bouquet and the feather suggestions are great! I've also seen pearl bouquets, you could do vintage fans with some ribbon and blooms attached like the ones below!

I haven't personally seen any different ideas at weddings i've been to but there are a ton of ideas online!
brooch bouquets, paper flower bouquets, lanterns, hoops, balloons, etc

A cool vintage/unique idea I've seen around is each bridesmaid carrying their favorite classic book with a few flowers sticking out of the top of it! I thought it was a sweet, personal touch.
