Foliage Identification HELP! Wedding Flowers!

Nikki, on April 26, 2016 at 8:59 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 2

Hello!

So I have been planning on doing my own wedding flowers for quite some time and have been diligently working on identifying everything in this bouquet! While I have all the flowers and fillers down, I am having a hard time identifying the foliage. I see some type of fern and I believe I have narrowed down the other foliage to either Nagi or Italian Ruscus.

Also, I am doing similar table arrangements that will be in gold small urns. What would you recommend as far as foliage goes? What are your personal favorites? I am ordering the bulk of my floral from a local flower farm, but the foliage I had planned on purchasing either on samsclub.com or fiftyflowers.com.

Thanks so much!

I don't know if you identified the plant to the top of the peony on the far right, but it's blue thistle. I really wanted that in my bouquet too! Some of the foliage on the left looks like eucalyptus.

    The bouquet is beautiful!!

It looks like you have some seeded eucalyptus in there, which is one of my personal favorites!
