Fondant looks amazing but it doesn't tastes amazing. I prefer BUTTERCREAM anytime... I LOVE it.

Fondant for us. Although I like buttercream more but for design and to hold all day we needed fondant.

Buttercream, if done right you can't tell the difference and it costs much less. Plus I don't want to pay for something no one will eat!

Fondant definitely. I hate white buttercream, I don't mind chocolate buttercream. However, I prefer whipped icing.

I’ve always found those cake pics to look absolutely beautiful. Since I’ve landed a man who also happens to be a chef/baker, he told me about how the fondant cakes are very dry and the frosting pretty much tastes like sugar and flour. Yuck!! I’ll stick with the buttercream!!!
