Food for Bachelorette Party House?

MrsD, on April 10, 2019 at 1:30 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 16

I told my MOH I'd be in charge of the snacks to have at the house for my bachelorette party in May. We will be at the house Friday Night - Sunday Morning. We are eating ordering in Friday dinner, and eating out Saturday breakfast & dinner. So I need snacks in the house for throughout the day, breakfast ideas for Sunday, and lunch for Saturday. What would be easy? It's going to be 90 degrees or more, so no one will want to be cooking. What are some good snacks & easy lunches & breakfast ideas? Thank you!

Breakfast casserole - if you have a crockpot, they are super easy and don't heat up the house! My sister has a 9x13 crockpot/casserole maker and uses it for Christmas morning every year.

    Bagels/Cream cheese/fruit

    Wraps/Sub sandwiches

Finger Food Lunch - pinwheels, little smokies, meatballs, etc

Tacos are kind of minimal cooking

Snacks - I'd get some savory and some sweet.

    Chips/dip

    Cookies

Taquitos - we took some of these on a vacation for a snack

    Fruit/Dip

Popsicles - it's gonna be hot, cool off!

    Granola Bars/Protein Bars

I'm not sure if the rental house will have a crockpot but I'll see if they listed that online! I like the bagels idea & the premade sandwiches. I LOVE the Popsicle idea. I would have never thought of that and that is such a good idea for palm springs. Wow, thank you!

This is what she has - it's nothing fancy, but she's like me in the fact of I use my crock pot a LOT during the summer so it doesn't heat up the house. Food for Bachelorette Party House? 1

I am a huge fan of bagels with lox and the trimmings for an easy, no cook breakfast that feels decadent!

My friends and I did a weekend together in Texas in an airbnb and we all bought sandwich supplies to have on hand. Some people actually made sandwiches, some just kind of munched on the meats and veggies. It worked really well for everyone.

My fiance is just like you, obsessed with lox! Hahahaha! That's what I was thinking, like some sandwich rolls (two kinds probably) then some turkey & roast beef & different cheeses with onion and lettuce? Then it's an easy DIY thing but still filling. I'm sure there will be lots of drinking so I just want to make sure there is food to balance that out hahahaha!

Sandwiches & chips are always my go to lunches for vacations. Cereal, pancakes, bagels, or bacon & eggs are good breakfast choices. Fruit, chips, cheese, crackers, and pickles are good snack options!

So for my best friends Bach weekend at a beach house, we did lots of chips, chips and salsa and the most popular thing was: sand which stuff! Turkey/ cheese/ sub rolls ect. I felt like a turkey sandwich at 1am single handedly saved me from alcohol poisoning (I kid I kid). For my Bach weekend a few weeks ago (at a hotel) chips and queso and salsa were MAJOR. Also - my moh bought these liquid iv drink mixes that I think actually prevented serious sick hang overs (you can find them on amazon).

Costco and some other grocery stores sell alcoholic popsicles which would be super fun for a bach party!

Also, big bags of popcorn would be a good snack. It seems less filing to me than chips and dips but it's nice to much on when it's hot and youre (I'm just assuming) drinking a lot!

I love the sandwich idea, I think a DIY station will be easiest. And pickles will be a necessity for my bloody marys Smiley winking haha!
