Food help!!

Our wedding is in Dec....5 months away and we are looking at food options....everything we've looked at so far has sliders on the menu...

My fiance is dairy allergic so that is my main focus. We are having a hard time finding a caterer who wants to associate dairy free with vegan....
Suggestions?? Cause we are 2 steps away from doing it ourselves!

    What about Mediterranean food? Hummus, gyros, kebabs, falafel - there are tons of dairy free and vegan options without it feeling like a substitute.

    I second on the Mediterranean menu!
    Are you working with a dairy free baker for the cake? Maybe they know someone, or can offer menu ideas too.

    Do you and your fiance have a favorite food? I'd suggest looking at caterers that have that. For example, a pasta bar, Mexican dishes, if you're not vegan (hard to tell from the wording) a BBQ place is a good option. I'm vegan and our caterer was super accommodating when I told her what I wanted.

    We pretty much eat everything. Mediterranean, pasta, sushi, southern foods etc. We aren't vegan just dairy free....he's allergic to cows milk and the proteins in milk.
    We wanted to have more of a grazing table type feel...
    Going to reach out to our baker and see what her suggestions are as well.

    We had sliders that didn't have cheese on. I would talk with your caterer - DON'T do it yourself
