I'm pretty sure I just wore a shirt and jeans. You don't need to be dressed in any certain way for the tasting.

Unless you are going to a fancy restaurant during business hours, tastings tend to be pretty casual. Just wear something comfortable and presentable.

Are you having a photographer present capturing the moment? If not, wear whatever you’d typically wear just to eat/taste food. There’s no dress code or attire expectation.

My fiance and I dressed up for a date night when we went to do our food tasting. Wear something comfortable, but it doesn't need to be anything fancy (unless the place you're going is a super fancy restaurant).

Comfortable and casual like it’s date night

We had a destination wedding, so we flew to our tasting. It was about two hours after we landed, so I just wore what I wore on the plane—and I almost always wear the same thing while flying: nice leggings, fashion sneaks and a cute top. I think I wore a white cotton surplice top? But really, no reason to wear anything but something comfortable you’d wear any other time.
I asked our salesgirl if it was possible to take a peek at our ceremony location again after the tasting, and it was. I was glad for the sneakers then because it was quite the walk!

Truly does not matter. If it's at a restaurant, then what you would wear if you normally were going to eat there. Everywhere else it doesn't matter.

I agree with the others, I'd go for comfy but pretty - either a floaty, billow-y dress, a stretchy dress, or comfy jeans, cute top and a casual blazer.

Yikes, my tasting is coming up next week too and I hadn't even thought about what to wear! I like these suggestions, comfortable but cute a la date night. :-)
