Football garter toss

UO: but I like the garter/bouquet toss at weddings and think this is a good idea.

Someone else has posted this recently then, with the exact same pic. Do you have a question about it, or was this just a pointless thread?

I think it's cute. Especially if there are a lot of football players attending.

I am not a fan of the garter toss in general, but I think it really depends on the feel of the wedding you're going for... If you want to keep it black tie, you probably shouldn't involve the ceremonial game of catch.

If you're having a less formal fun wedding and your crowd will enjoy this, then do it if you want.

I feel like a bunch of drunk football players having an actual football to toss around is a recipe for disaster and breaking stuff IMO

Garter tosses are already barfy to me. This just makes it extra immature IMO.

I wouldn't side eye this at a wedding especially if it reflected your love of football, but Mrs. Sullivan did make a point about hazards.

I think this is cute and you should do it! I've seen it at a wedding before and the guys were mature enough to catch it , pose with it in a couple of photos and that was it.

I hate garter tosses. They are always super awkward and I would never want any of my family to see that.

Are you going to be outside or inside? I could see it outside GO LONG!!!!
